Jeff is a seasoned CPA, fractional CFO, entrepreneur, and competitive athlete who brings decades of financial leadership and business growth experience to the LA Heat organization.
A former Ernst & Young professional, Jeff has spent his career helping businesses improve profitability, strengthen financial operations, and prepare for growth, investment, and successful exits. He has served as CFO and strategic advisor to companies across multiple industries including consumer products, hospitality, healthcare, retail, startups, and emerging growth businesses. His expertise includes financial strategy, fundraising, sponsorship development, operational scaling, and long-term business planning.
Jeff has also been an entrepreneur himself, helping scale businesses from startup stages into multi-location operations, giving him firsthand experience in building organizations from the ground up.
Beyond finance, Jeff has a lifelong passion for sports and competition. A former racquetball champion, avid pickleball competitor and pickleball instructor with IPTPA, he brings both business acumen and athletic enthusiasm to LA Heat. He has played an active role in helping build the team’s sponsorship strategy, financial structure, community partnerships, and long-term growth initiatives.
Jeff is also the founder of Xcel Foundation, a charitable organization focused on creating opportunities for underserved youth. Through LA Heat, he is helping launch junior pickleball programs designed to introduce more young athletes to the sport while creating sustainable community impact.
