At 22, Hayden Rand brings elite athletic pedigree and rising professional momentum to LA Heat. Fresh off a standout Division I tennis career at Sacramento State — where he recorded 52 collegiate wins — Hayden has transitioned his high-level racquet skills to pickleball.

Introduced to the sport in the summer of 2025, he has quickly made his presence known, earning his way into his first PPA Tour main draw. With explosive movement, advanced shot-making, and a competitive edge shaped by years of top-tier tennis, Hayden represents one of the next generation’s emerging talents.

He currently serves as a Pro at The Paseo Club in Santa Clarita, teaching both tennis and pickleball while continuing to sharpen his own game.

Competition runs deep in his family — with collegiate athletes across multiple sports — and Hayden thrives in team environments. He’s ready to help make LA Heat’s inaugural season a success.
